Hey everyone. I'm so sorry for my extended leave. Thanks to all of you who wished me a merry christmas, it means a lot! A lot of personal stuff came up during the holidays and I really had no time to get on and interact with you all, much less work on art. Now I'm a membership candidate for Tau Beta Sigma, which is a music service organization, and the candidacy process really sucks up all my time. It's fun, and I know it'll be worth it in spite of all the stress, but when I do have downtime it usually goes into taking a nap or finishing my homework. The best thing about exams is that the semester is almost over, and in eight days I'll be at home, sleeping in my big comfy bed without my roommate's loud, annoying morning behaviors waking me up before I'm ready. The worst is that painting commissions have to be put off until this weekend, when exams are done, and my roommate's gone home, and I'm stuck waiting here because of band auditions on the eleventh. But at least I should be able to get them all done, so that's a good thing. Recently I uploaded a rough looking, colored sketch of my new character, Fall. :thumb339974259: I love her to death and I really appreciate that other people love her too, and she's fun to draw and I can't wait to upload more pictures of her, but that little sketch probably took me about half an hour tops. I'm not especially proud of it, not the way I'm proud of my other work. It was just something that I found fun. And she's really fun to draw - I have a crapton of doodles just waiting to be used. But what really bothers me here is that other works I've done, paintings that took me countless hours and a great deal of thought and attention
