Well, I went to the paint store to stock up on art supplies finally! I was picking out discount canvases when I saw this little black canvas, and I'd never seen a black canvas in our art store. And there was an instant connection, and I knew exactly what I wanted to put on it and exactly how I would do it. Thus this attempt at a realistic Firebird was born. <3 Personally I love it, and I'm thinking I'll have to go back and buy three more so I can do the other birds and have a set... <3
